DIY Purifying Mask against Acne

This recipe is great to apply once a week or even more for deep cleaning of the skin affected by acne. You will love the sensation on the skin. Your face will thank you.

Before applying this mask I recommend an exfoliation. Exfoliation is a necessary part of skin care routine but when we are talking about acne prone skin it can be really tricky. I recommend using AHA fruits acids to exfoliating the skin affected by acne.

What you need for this mask is (one apply):

  • white clay – 8 gr
  • rosemary water – 8 ml (8 gr)
  • neem oil – 2 ml (2 gr)
  • tea tree essential oil – 2 drops

Put all the ingredients in one clean and dry bowl, in the presented order and mix after each of it. Apply the mask on the face with a brush and leave it 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

White clay  cleans and helps remove impurities and improves skin condition.

Rosemary water helps in ridding the skin of impurities, it is astringent and helps to balance sebum production. Also, helps unclog the pores.

Neem Oil is renowned for its powerful antibacterial effect. Due to its special composition, it is very often used in cosmetics for skin care problems like acne, eczema, psoriasis, infections, warts, herpes, lice, mycosis. It has a good absorption, quite dry feeling and it doesn’t clog the pores.

Tea Tree essential oil has purifying and antiseptic action.
