Homemade Coffee Body Scrub

Wake yourself up in the morning with a vibrant and healthy glow when you use this yummy coffee scrub. Coffee and chocolate contain regenerative antioxidants and the caffeine increases circulation and the soft texture promotes ultra-smooth skin. The scrub is also a fantastic cellulite buster.


  • 1/4 cup ground coffee
  • 1/2 cup raw sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon powdered milk (soy or coconut)
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon almond oil
  • 4 ml vitamin E

Place the coffee, sugar, cocoa, and powdered milk in a bowl. Add the honey and mix it together. Add the oil and mix it until it has a uniform consistency. Put the vitamin E and mix well. It’s easy peasy.

You can prepare it and keep it in a sealed jar in a cool dark place for up to 6 months.

If you have sensitive skin you can use ground almonds instead of sugar. And yes, you can simplify this recipe and personalise it as you wish. It is very efficient even if you only use coffee, sugar, cocoa and almond oil. Or you can replace it with olive oil. And maybe add some lemon for a nice smell. Or just use honey.

Use this scrub in place of soap or body wash in your shower or bath. Massage it in small circular motions, starting with the legs and arms, making your way up to the torso and ending at your heart. Rinse well.

Stress Away Bath Salt

Calming and relaxing lavender will help you promote a good night’s sleep and happy dreams. Adding some almond oil will make your skin soft and delicate. It’s perfect at the end of a work day. Epsom salt is rich in vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids of the sea. It has a very high concentration of calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and bromide, minerals essential for healthy looking skin.  These minerals are essential for healthy skin and naturally alleviate redness, irritation, and swelling, especially in the blemished skin.

Soaking in mineral-rich sea salt extracts toxins from your body and relaxes your muscles. So enjoy a long moisturising soak in these replenishing bath salt.


  • 1 3/4 cups Epsom Salt
  • 1/4 cup sweet almond oil
  • 30 drops lavender essential oil
  • 18 drops rosemary essential oil
  • 10 drops peppermint essential oil

Place the salt into a bowl. Stir in the sweet almond oil in intervals. Add a little, stir, add a little, stir, until all the oil is mixed with the salt. Do the same with the essential oils. Add little and stir until all the oils are mixed.

Store in a sealed jar up to 6 months.

If you want your bath salt to look amazing you can add a little bit of food colouring. But if you want your salt to be completely natural don’t add it.

You can also add dry flowers or different herbs to complete the essential oils smells and add more healing power to your bath.

Another thing you can do is to put the salt to dry on baking paper for one or two hours.

Also, you can always replace the essential oils with your favourites ones. Here are some examples:

For a minty refreshing bath, you can use 45 drops spearmint essential oil and 30 drops peppermint.

When you feel that you get a cold use 28 drops eucalyptus essential oil, 30 drops lemon essential oils and 16 drops tea tree essential oil.

For a calming bath use 8 drops chamomile essential oil, 20 drops lemon essential oil, 20 drops lime essential oil, 30 drops sweet orange essential oil.

Add one cup in your bathtub and soak for at least 20 minutes or longer to enjoy maximum therapeutic benefits of the active ingredients. After the bath is also perfect to use a body scrub, as your skin is softened and easy exfoliated. Then rinse off in the shower to remove the toxins and sweat you released as you bathed.  Follow with moisturiser if desired.

Homemade Honey, Almond and Oatmeal Mask & Scrub

Honey is known that is extremely moisturising and soothing, it’s full of antioxidants, so it’s anti-aging. It’s also naturally antibacterial, so it’s great for acne treatment and prevention.

Almond milk is amazing for skin, hair, and nails. Contains zinc that can help keep skin clear and free of blemishes. Insufficient zinc levels can lead to thinning or lost hair. Is rich in vitamin E, which is required for protecting skin against damage from the harsh rays of the sun. Vitamin E is one of the many antioxidants found in almond milk that can help trap free radicals that may result in cancer.

Oatmeal is suitable for all skin types, and even for the most sensitive skin because of its anti- inflammatory properties. It soothes irritation and treats inflammations. Also, exfoliates the skin.

Rosa Mosqueta Oil it’s renowned for wrinkle reduction and regenerating action on the skin, this precious oil is used mainly to restore beauty and brightness of the skin.

Wheat Germ Oil has a variety of benefits, protects and nourishes the skin, it helps at restructuring and formation of new cells and damage repair, increases skin elasticity and tonicity.


  • 60 ml almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 cup ground oatmeal
  • 1 ml Rosa Mosqueta Oil (optional)
  • 1 ml Wheat Germ Oil (optional)


1 Mix almond milk with honey until dissolved, then add it to the ground oatmeal and mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix until a paste-like texture is obtained. 2 Apply onto your face and neck. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

This hand moisturiser is great to use it every day as often as needed. You can store it in a pump bottle next to your hand soap.

Aloe Vera Gel is a real panacea for the skin, known for its soothing, restorative, healing and moisturising action.

Almond Oil is a fine, nourishing and emollient oil, suitable for all skin types, especially for the dry, sensitive or fragile ones.

Glycerin is a moisturising agent that helps retaining water in skin tissues, it is emollient and velvety, protects the hair from dehydration.


  • 60 ml organic aloe vera gel
  • 2 teaspoon organic almond oil
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable-derived glycerin

In a bowl or a glass mix all ingredients, and transfer the resulting composition into the dedicated container. Can be prepared directly in the pump bottle, stirring well after each addition of ingredients.

Apply on the hands as often as need it, especially after using soap or detergents.

Heels Overnight Fix

This formula is one of the easiest  and fastest fixes for your heels. Lemons are rich in vitamin C, and the acidity retained in the peel or rind helps with dead cells exfoliation.   • one large lemon cut in half
  • 2 teaspoons of (organic) olive oil
  • 2 pairs of winter socks


1 Squeeze the juice out of the lemon and put it aside for another use. Use the white inside of a rind against each heel, using bandages if needed to hold the rind in place against your heels. Pull socks all over and keep them on for 30 minutes. Remove the socks and the lemons rind and massage one teaspoon of olive oil on each foot. Put on another pair of socks and leave it on for 30 minutes or overnight.

How to reduce puffy eyelids?

A very simple method to get rid of puffy eyes is to use black tea. This tea is astringent and contains tannins, which is a great help  in reducing the eyelids puffiness.

What you need is

  • 2 bags of black tea
  • 1 cup of hot water
  • some cucumber juice refrigerated


The procedure is simple:

Drop the black tea bags into the water. Leave for 5 minutes. Remove the bags and let the excess water drain and wait until is cool enough to be comfortable to the touch. Place the tea bags on each eyelid and relax for 10-15 minutes, flipping the tea bags over every few minutes. Finish by gently applying the cucumber juice on the eyelids. After that, you can apply an eye cream.


Wrinkle Serum for Dry Skin
